2:10 I just wanted some gas
Imagine if you could ride your bike or just hike across the border of 20+ distinct countries and you don't even need a passport. What a dream .... oh wait, its already reality !
I drove from New York to Montreal two years ago for a Labor Day trip. When I was stopped at the border, the officer asked whether I would leave anything behind during my trip. I responded, without thinking much, that I would have to go to the bathroom. He laughed so loud that officers fifty feet away heard him well. Needless to say, I passed border check readily and with much ease :-)
Meanwhile in the EU me"You need to carry a passport"?
There's also a library in Maine that straddles the border. It's legal to enter and spend time there from either side of the border, as long as you go back into the country from which you came when you leave. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Haskell_Free_Library_and_Opera_House
A French woman was arrested at the Peace Arch for jogging into the US with no documents.

Yes 2 years ago under Trump. Now Biden is in I'm sure things will be lax
Have in mind: It's only legal if you SNEAK into. Going in clear sight is still a crime
you skipped the Boundary Waters Canoe Area / Quetico Provincial Park in Northern MN/Ontario, legally you just need to get a permit, but really all you have to do is paddle across and hope you don't run into a ranger that may not even exist
Did this guy seriously just call Canadian healthcare high quality? Ha.
This video is probably fun. Maybe Brilliant will know.
"Top Quality American Gasoline"... hahaha! Europeans are laughing hearing that....
Ha, the peace arch park has a US border patrol stationed at the exists. If you go past the park you will get in trouble, not entirely honor system..
If anyone of you gets detained or arrested, just give the patrols forces a link to this channel :)
What about the northwest angle area of minnesota? From what I remember from my childhood, you could cross through Canada into it and back to the US without any checkpoints or anything else.
As if commiting crimes can stop you becoming president these days
there was a case of a woman getting stranded in that BC park . i think she was arrested because she was a british citizen on vacation and accidentally entered the u.s. through the park. the easy rules there apply to canadians and americans only.
2:38 seconds in the video makes me wanna ask u if you are also a writer for the Simpsons,,,,,, twilight music my exit
Lol, sounds like a waste of gas to do that loop to save money 🤑
My FBI agent watching me watch this:…………………👁👄👁
Yo I’m going to canada
Glacier national park also has parts that are dually administered by both the us and Canada
I wonder what would happen if someone committed a crime while in the gold club. They'd technically be subject to Canadian jurisdiction, but law enforcement couldn't take then out of the the club without going through the U.S.
Back when Boblo Island amusement park was open, you could take the Boblo Boat, which was in Canada, without going through any customs. I’m sure it was used for smuggling from time to time.
2021* civil war
Civil war 2020? You got some fortune telling skills. 😆
I don’t get why Canadaians cross the boarder like what are you not happy getting free healthcare
Those born overseas are not allowed to be President.
So, the people who's house is bisected have the ability to get firearms easier and more fun ones than in canukistan
Me and the boys moving to Canada when the second American Civil War inevitably breaks out
Well, I just found my way to the USA. Now I just need to learn their language. Anybody have any Spanish books??
There is absolutely no need to have any kind of border control or check points between the US and Canada. Both are super friendly, well developed and prosperous nations with similar laws. One can be reasonably certain that either country would screen people coming in from overseas quite well. Learn from Europe, Why not have a free travel area which would remove the hassles and boost trade and tourism.
I do wish that you'd included the Haskell Free Library and Opera House in Stansted, QC / Derby, VT in this list.
I want to visit Quebec. But I don't want to deal with border guards
Do u really think ppl check in to customs.
Who the hell wants to sneak into the US. Crazy land the US is discusting.
When I lived in Woodstock NB, I've meet a nice American girl in Presque Isle and I crossed the border of her pants a few times before I got caught.
I can confirm that many times I've been walking at peace Arch park, while in Canada i went for a 50ft distance to take a piss at the washroom which is located in US.
“Let’s say that you want to sneak in to the US.” yeah right
Imagine if the US and Canada pulled an EU and let anyone cross the border anywhere without restriction
This Video is an ABOMINATION due to the bloody AD IN THE VIDEO. We get hit with too many ads BY ALthe as it is, I'm to the point I REFUSE to watch these videos with imbedded ads.
think of this Canada let in 400,000 people from Syria seeing they now have Canadian Passport but tRump ban on Syria that means they can go in to USA with out the ban
commenr
You do know that this is racist against the brown folks down south.
No discussion about the Haskell Library in Stanstead QC/Derby VT where you can walk inside the library between the US and Canadian sides? Even concert hall is split in half. www.bbc.com/travel/story/20171105-the-us-canada-border-runs-through-this-tiny-library
My brother lived in Dunseith, ND after leaving the USAF. When you leave the Peace Garden, you have to go through a checkpoint either direction. Americans don’t require a passport to reenter, just government issue identification. Canadians going back north need a passport, not to visit the park, but to leave it.
Unless you're going into the USA for a long period of time, reporting to immigration shouldn't be required.
You missed the golf course in Portal ND/ North Portal Saskatchewan. The longest hole in the world, on the ninth hole you tee off in Canada and your ball lands in the US an hour later due to the fact ND is on daylight savings time and Saskatchewan isn't. It's listed in Ripley's Believe it or not as someone hit a hole in one across an international border.
I been to st. Regis Indian reservation and sadly at the time I went their drinking water contaminated with sulfer and the town had mostly dirt roads.
I hope they will soon close these...let them fend for themselves. A Canadian.

I believe it is the only Canadian custom booth that is fully bullet proof.
This is makes it easy for terrorist to cross over to the U.S.
The special hearing centrally play because hole undoubtedly separate concerning a well-made brochure. auspicious, gullible gusty exclamation
When I was a kid we had cousins that lived in Maine on property bounded on the east by Canada. The Canadian neighbor who owned the property next door and my cousins would invite each other over for dinner all the time. I probably illegally crossed into Canada and back as a kid thousands of times, often a dozen times a day while we would play on the stone wall separating the two properties. This was roughly 50 years ago and things have probably changed a little.
You forgot to mention Ross lake in WA. I once paddled from the dam in the US to the north end of the lake in Canada. There’s no border crossing or guard.
Lol notice how most of them it's harder to go to Canada
What about Canusa Street where the houses on the north side of the western part of the street are in Stanstead, Quebec and the houses on the south side of the western part of the street are in Beebe Plain, Vermont? I think, technically, the entire road is in Canada and the border crosses the end of the driveways of the American residents so they enter into Canada every single time they turn on to the road.
"top quality american gasoline" lmao I can find 95 octane at most gas stations in canada... Good luck in the US
Nice how the presenter managed to incorporate several anti american cheap shots.
APTHCRY now has an official Office HQ in Philly 🤙
Used to be you could do the same between Hyder, Alaska, and Stewart, British Columbia, Canada, and I did several times when I was there in 1986. There was an Alaskan ferry between Ketchikan and Hyder, maybe twice a week, and if you continued on out of Hyder into Alaska the border crossing check station was on the ferry. But now they have a station at the actual border, last I heard.
Nothing sneaky about any of these.
Yea if you cross the peace arch one foot they track you down pretty quick
There's an American hamlet in the huge US exclave of Alaska , which itself can only be visited by land via Canada, called Hayder and it can only be accessed from Canada and they have no US border police but there are Canadian ones .Hayder has a road from Canada which loops back into Canada and links with nowhere else in Alaska.
not true in 2020
Presque Isle means almost island. So, a peninsula. Not sure why that town is called that.
There are a couple noteworthy omissions: Stanstead, QC and Derby Line VT; and Hyder AK and Stewart, BC. In the first, there's a library and opera house that straddles the border and a line is marked on the floor. Since 9/11 you can no longer drive across, but you could still walk across. Crossing from Stewart to Hyder, there is no U.S. customs. The only road is to a mine back in Canada. Returning from Hyder to Stewart, you do need to pass through Canadian customs. They asked about my bear spray as black bears literally walked around on the road in front.
What about the PCT?
Canada isn’t real
Not defending the war in Iraq but nobody stole any oil. Iraq's oil is still there and Iraq is still a member of OPEC.
You missed the Waterton/glacier national park crossing
There is a gravel road called Border Road near Sweetgrass/Coutts crossing that shares Montana with Alberta.which is one meter south of the markers. You can drive to Canada or USA without going through customs. BUT DON"T GET CAUGHT!
Wait you say ( 5:15 ), they do not use the honor system for murder? how do they survey you 27/7 to punish you instantly for murder then? Any crime punishable by law is checked via the honor system. Otherwise, the assumption of innocent till proven guilty cannot be made. Or am I wrong here?
Its so funny to see that people have to use there passport to travel between country’s i have been on vacation arround 20 times outside my country but only used my passport 1 time
Imagine joking about the 2020 civil war
*Laughs in european*
This is all madness.
That murder video was unnecessary. It spoiled your otherwise great video.
the executive branch vs NOAA is a meme?
There’s also Hozomeen Campground in North Cascades National Park. The only way to reach it is via a dead-end road that starts in Canada. Since it’s a dead-end road, there’s basically no place you can drive to via it in the USA except for that campground, so the border is unpatrolled. The only thing there is a sign and a (typically unlocked) gate. It's on a long reservoir that penetrates deep into the USA and they do patrol it to stop smuggling via boat.
I like the idea of walking your dog across the border to take a crap, then walking back home. Ha! Take THAT, Canada!
This only helps verify that the individuals in charge of everything, are insane. Completely idiotic. Only a fool would do illogical BS, like this.
As european I don't understand why canada/us don't have open borders. They're both rich and democrats. It makes nonsense the way it is

For one, Canada has considerably tougher gun laws than many American states. The United States also still has capital punishment federally and in some states, whereas Canada has entirely abolished the practice. There are some other fairly big legal discrepancies between the two nations that have emerged over the years such as cannabis legality.
🤔🧐🧐🧐
There is a campground that is jointly run by the US and Canada at Ross lake Washington. The very nothern tip of the lake crosses over into British Columbia and Canadians can cross over and camp on the American part of the camp site without as passport or going through any border gates. There is only one road access to it though and that is through Canada.
I freeman on the land, so go wherever I wants. Me, my 16 kids and 6 wives.
No mention of Richford Slide Road in Vermont/Quebec?
No mention of the Alaska Canada border - especially between Stewart BC and Hyder AK. There is no U.S. border station at all in Hyder. Canadians can go right in. There IS a Canadian border station to cross back into Stewart, but there is a road extending from Hyder back into Canada that is uncontrolled. Some Mines in Canada can only be reached by going through the uncontrolled border crossing into Alaska, then looping back into Canada through an uncontrolled crossing.
At timestamp 2:41, Only if they knew how the year 2020 would go down in history.
There is a Silver Skagit Road from Hope BC that leads into the Ross Lake area of Washington. The US side has WA-20 but it is now closed until May for winter. With the border closed are the Canadians even allowed there now?
1:33 2020 Enters the chat. The Canadian doesn’t go at all without walking. The US person might not be able to go either.
If you hike the Pacific Crest Trail to the northern end, you will cross the border into Canada about 10 miles south of Manning Park, British Columbia. You need to carry your passport and apply for a permit online. The border itself is a clearcut corridor with a border obelisk in the middle but there is no checkpoint and the Canadians didn’t ever check my passport. I took a Greyhound to Vancouver and needed it to get back into the US.
Hmm I wonder if anyone has attempted to go into the peace garden now with everything going on...
Why are we sneaking if it’s legal?
You can also cross the border, without a passport, by boat between Glacier national park in Montana and Waterton national park in Alberta through the Waterton lake. Source: I did this just last year.
Europeans: You have to have a passport to cross a border?

No. No passport, no ID of any kind is required to cross borders between countries belonging to the Schengen area. There are no more border stations. No more controls. People and goods are free to cross borders. Even terrorists can do so. Your US / Canada border crossing problems are incomprehensible to us.
Tips for Americans hoping to survive 2020
There is also the Haskell Library in Derby Line and Stanstead which had doors on both sides of the border where the rules are you have to leave by the doors you came in by but can cross inside if you want.
You should also look into the Connecticut River, I believe it starts in Canada, you could defiantly sneak into Canada there
there's more than that =D
the library in Derby Line Vermont straddles the US-Canada border.
